Are you limiting
your power and hitting future with these mistakes?
You work only on mechanics thinking bat speed will come as you get older?
You take less than 100 quality swings at least 3 times a week?
You take less than half of your swings at maximum effort?
You think swinging hard will cause poor mechanics?
You think practice is the same as training or conditioning is the same
as training?
You think weight lifting builds power?
Answering
yes to one or more of the
above means you or the players you coach will probably never reach
their maximum hitting potential.
My
name is Paul Nyman. I am SETPRO's founder. Read this report and
you will find out how you can maximize your power AND hitting capabilities.
You
will find no so called secrets. No magic devices. Only the
latest sports research and training tools. I put the latest
training information and tools together in a system called
SMART POWER. This report explains how SMART POWER works and how
players of all ages are boosting
their power, confidence and careers and having fun and at the same
time
Heres
a sample of what players, coaches and parents tell us: ...ordered your REACTION POWER TRAINING system in July.
My son Bill (12 years old) started training 30 minutes after receiving
your package. Two weeks later at ALL STAR weekend (Little League)
he went 14 for 16 with 4 home runs. One home run was over 300 feet.
Afterwards, everyone said it was one of the hardest hit balls they
ever saw. This year he is playing BABE RUTH. He already started
training (NOVEMBER). His bat speed has increased 25 MPH since first
starting your program. Thanks so much... W.Gibson, W. Springfield
MA.
John Acosta, Caldwell, NJ (slow pitch softball) writes
two years ago in 120
games I hit 7 home runs and batted .375. Bought your system last
April and started training 4 weeks before the start of my season.
Trained 3 times a week. My workouts take about
45 minutes. Three weeks later we scrimmaged several teams.
In a ball park where I never hit a home, I hit 4 bombs!! I ended
the season hitting 53 home runs and batted .522 and invited to play
on a touring team. Your system has exceeded my wildest dreams.......
Blake Blackwell, Sugarland, TX Personal Trainer writes.....I work with major,
minor league and college players. Recieved your SPRT5A REACTION
TRAINER and VIPER-RT VISION SYSTEM this December. I
was getting four major league players ready for spring training.
At the beginning of training I measured their bat speeds. All four
were around 90 to 95 MPH. We used your equipment with a SWING-AWAY.
After 3 weeks of training bat speeds were up to 104-106 MPH. I couldnt
believe a major league player could add that much speed in such
a short time. You are absolutely correct in the effect of feedback
and mental training.......
POPULAR
MECHANICS MAGAZINE and Ray Dimarini (guru of softball power)says
the following about bat speed measurement:
One of the best teaching aids available.... This machine
gives the batter instant feedback as to how changes in the mechanics
of the swing affect bat speed. In our tests, simple changes
in mechanics... produced increases in bat speed from 76 to 89
MPH. An increase in bat speed of 10 MPH translates into 40 ft.
of added distance for a properly hit softball ...also helps
determine a hitters optimum bat weight.

Why
you may never reach your hitting potential
Your
hidden power. 95% of all players are not reaching their full
power capabilities. Your power is determined by mechanics (how you
swing or throw) and muscle speed and strength. Very few coaches
know how to train for power mechanics. Even worse, most teach the
wrong things.
You
cannot seperate mechanics and bat speed.Im working on mechanics,
bat speed will come. I hear this from parents and coaches all the
time. When Jeff Bagwell
was asked how he went from a minor league hitter whose best power
year was 4 home runs to a Major Leager hitting 40 home runs, Jeff
said: You have to think power to have power. You have to train
for power to have power. You practice power to have power.
I built my body up but I also had to build my mind up. I
had to re-learn how to swing with maximum effort. I just wish I
had learned this sooner
When
you first learn to hit, making contact is stressed as your only
goal. Swinging for maximum bat
speed (power) is usually discouraged. If you follow this advice
you are condemned to never reach their full hitting potential. What
does Mark McGuire do in batting practice before every game? Swing
for the fences!!! He practices hitting home runs to hit home runs.
To
develop a players maximum capability, you must make contact AND
have bat speed. To reach your full power
potential you must re-train your muscle memory system. Every wrong
swing you take requires at least TWO right swings to correct. The SMART POWER
TRAINING SYSTEM will show you how to maximize mechanics and muscle power to reach your
full capabilities.
Do
you train to hit a baseball or softball? Think carefully about
your answer. Practice is not training. Do you go to baseball training
or practice? Practice is used to improve your skills (timing). Training
is improves your speed and strength. To get the most out of practice,
you need to train FOR practice.
With the proper training program players make 2, 3 even 4 times
the progress compared to players who only practice.
SMART POWER TRAINING shows
you how to train for practice.
How
many quality swings do you take each day, week or year.? The
average major league player takes 1000 quality swings each week.
Quality means maximum mental and physical efforts. Do you have a
swing training plan? Do
you have a way to measure the results of your swings? Most swings
you take are of questionable or no value. Or worse yet, are actually
training you to never reach your maximum capabilities. If you dont
have a plan you can take 300 swings a day and go backwards. If you
do have a plan and can measure results, you can take 100 swings
and make major progress forwards. Its not the quantity of your
swings, its the quality.
